Calcite vase with lid. Vase has flat base, ledged rim, cylindrical body and concave neck. On the body there is an inscription divided into two columns topped with pt-sign: "Good Goddess, Maat-ka-Ra, may she live, beloved by Amun-Ra, Lord of the Throne of Two Lands (1. nṯr.t nfr(.t) Mȝʿt-kȝ-Rʿ ʿnḫ.tj 2.mrjj.t Jmn-Rʿ nb nst tȝ.wj)".
Excavated by H. Carter and Carnarvon in 1909-1911. Purchased and donated to the Metropolitan Museum of Art by Edward S. Harkness in 1926.
