Head found at Deir el-Bahari by Karl Richard Lepsius and taken to Berlin (Staatliche Museen zu Berlin, Ägyptisches Museum und Papyrussammlung ÄM 2279) in 1845; acquired by the museum in 1930 by exchange. Body found by the Egyptian Expedition of the Metropolitan Museum of Art in the Senenmut Quarry in season 1927–1928; acquired by the museum in the division of finds in 1930.
