[HatOb_196] Corner block with Thutmose I offering mḏt-oil to Anuket (C 251)

Sandstone corner block with the decoration executed in raised relief painted several colours. The scene represents Thutmose I turned left offering a set of four mḏt-oil vessels to Anuket turned right. The names of Thutmose I are preserved in the upper part of the block.

Found by the Swiss Institute of Architectural and Archaeological Research on Ancient Egypt in Cairo (Lfd.Nr. 18760 (18.2.1989), Lage b) in the foundation of the wall of the second vestibule of the sanctuary.
