Description: Block 179 from the first row of the south side. It represents three kneeling personifications of various Hatshepsut's monuments and constructions. The first figure is a female personification of the temple of Mut (Mȝʿt-kȝ-Rʿ mrjjt Mwt nb(t) Jšrw - Maatkara, beloved of Mut, Lady of Isheru). The second figure is a Nile personification of a structure, possibly a palace (Mȝʿt-kȝ-Rʿ mrjjt Jmn ḫntj Pr-hn - Maatkara, beloved of Amun, who is foremost of Pr-hn). From the last figure, only its front part is preserved, along with part of the inscription - it is a Nile personification of the temple of Hatshepsut (ḫm ḏsr Jmn - Amun at a splendid shrine). The other part of the figure is preserved on block 242. All figures are oriented towards the right.
-
Notes: the last figure is most probably wrongly carved as a Nile (male) personification - it is thinner than standard Nile figures in this monument and the temple should be personified by a female figure.
