temple room

Room A plays a role of a hypostyle hall of the temple of Satet. It is the biggest room of the temple measuring 776.25cm in width and 525.0cm in length.[1] The flat ceiling of the room is supported on two square Hathoric pillars.[2] Felix Arnold supposes that in the ceiling six window slots symmetrically distributed between the pillars illuminated the room.[3] The entrance to the temple is a typical outer entrance with slightly protruding door frame and is situated not on the axis of the temple but on the north side of the east outer wall of the building. Another two doors lead from room A to room B and room C.

The decoration was carved in raised relief and finished with the cryptographic frieze of Hatshepsut.[4]
