Oh, the living and future officials and men upon the earth, ḥm-nṯr-priests and wʿb-priests and their associates, every scribe, who takes the ³⁹palette, skillful in the god’s speech, every excellent man of his subordinates, reminder in boasting ⁴⁰his duty, may Ra, Lord of Infinity and Nekhebet, the White One of Nekhen, praise you, who are beneficient in his office, may you hand it over to your children as ⁴¹you say: “An offering, which the king gives” conforming to what is in writing and a voice offering as spoken by the ancestors like what comes forth from the mouth of the god. ⁴²Whoever bends his hand, may he proceed according to the correct plan, acting like the one who proceeds according to what is in the law, exactly ⁴³as in this order: “Your thousand of bread loaves, your thousand of beer jars and hundreds thousands of every thing good, ⁴⁴right, and pure for Osiris-nomarch of Nekheb, nomarch of Iunyt, confident of the overseer of the seal-bearers in the southern ⁴⁵voyage, excellent scribe of the reckoning, Pa-heri, true of voice.”. I speak to you and I cause you to know, that is by reading it aloud: ⁴⁶there is no excess, there is no vilification, and there is no dispute in it. It is not a fight ⁴⁷with another man. There is no oppression of the poor ⁴⁸in his moment, but sweet words which enjoy the face and the ḥȝt.j-heart is never wearied with listening to it, a breath ⁴⁹of the mouth, which is not eaten. There is no hurry nor delay in it. It will be good for you if you do it. You will find [...] ⁵⁰you turn back, when I was in the land of the living. There is no wrongdoing of the god against me. I was transformed in an ⁵¹equipped [...]. I have prepared my seat in the necropolis. My possesions in everything are in my hand. I did not fail to answer. It was my father who was noble for the one who had made him, he did not forget the one whom he had begotten. It is good that you hear!’.
