niche
The niche is 1.6m deep, 1.37m wide and 1.67m high and was placed on the same level as the scenes on the side walls and contains three faceless statues, male figure in the middle and two female on two sides, seated on a bench with their feet placed on a dais. The inscription given above specifies that the man is Pa-heri himself having his wife on his right (west) side and his mother on his left (east) one. The inscription on the rear wall was surrounded by a block border and finished at the top with a pointed kheker-frieze. The side walls of the niche as well as the ceiling are decorated.
