Scarab made of green glazed steatite. Type 4[1] - back with marked prothorax and elytra. On the base there is an inscription with Thutmose III's prenomen: Good God, Men-kheper-ra, living forever (nṯr nfr Mn-ḫpr-Rʿ ʿnḫ ḏ.t​). Sign nfr is located on the left side of the king's cartouche, while the rest of the inscription - on the right side. On the bottom of the scarab there is a depiction of three lotus flowers emerging from nb-sign. Whole composition is oriented vertically on the scarab. Length is 1.5cm.

Excavated by the H.E. Winlock (Metropolitan Museum of Art) in the temple of Hatshepsut at Deir el-Bahari in 1926-1927. Gained by the Metropolitan Museum of Art in 1927 in the division of finds (Rogers Fund).
